Frank Warren on why Deontay Wilder’s excuses and Tyson Fury’s next opponent

Deontay Wilder says his water was tampered with for his fight with Tyson Fury.

I think maybe someone has spiked his drink more recently if this is what he now believes.

Wilder must be on something after the load of excuses he came up with earlier this week.

Gloves, disloyal trainer and something in his water?

If there was something in the water then why didn't it come up in his post-fight anti-doping test?

I actually think the American is a nice guy and a really good fighter so it sad to see him come out with all of this.

For now, we are moving on with Fury and we are hoping to have his clash with Agit Kabayel signed off soon for December 5.

It will be fantastic to give the Gypsy King a huge homecoming fight even if it is behind closed doors should we get that fight over the line.

Kabayel is an unbeaten European heavyweight champion so is no pushover for Fury if we get it all secured.

Eddie Hearn has been trying to push for Dillian Whyte to face Fury on December 5.

But I've made it clear over the last few weeks that Whyte shouldn't have been fighting in November after such a brutal knockout by Alexander Povetkin in August.

Now they want him to step up and face the WBC champion after being poleaxed by Povetkin?

That is crazy.

Hearn has also said Whyte is levels above Kabayel but didn't the Brit have life and death twice with Derek Chisora?

Kabayel had a fairly routine points win over Chisora back in 2017.

Anyways, moving on to our own cracking show on Friday night topped by the British middleweight title clash between Denzel Bentley and Mark Heffron.

Their first fight in September was a brilliant one which I scored a draw along with the three judges.
