Week 7 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings for Superflex, 2-QB leagues

Another week is in the books with 20-plus quarterbacks being among the top fantasy scorers of the week. Even with four QBs on bye — Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert, Derek Carr, and Drew Brees — 21 passers were ranked in the top-50 scorers for Week 6, per That means that 75 percent of the quarterbacks that played ranked in the top 50. That may not matter all that much in standard fantasy leagues, but for Superflex leagues, that data proves one thing. There’s almost never a reason to start a non-QB at the superflex spot unless you don’t have two starters available. Our Week 7 superflex rankings will reflect that philosophy.

The cases in which a fantasy owner wouldn’t play two QBs in a superflex league are few and far between. Maybe you had Dak Prescott and somebody else scooped up Andy Dalton, so now your other superflex option is Kyle Allen. In that case, starting a higher-ranked RB or WR could make sense, but Allen’s floor still makes him more appealing than some of the other options further down the rankings, like Adrian Peterson and Travis Fulgham. The same can be said of the likes of Nick Foles and whoever the Jets start.

As always, our superlfex rankings contain all of the starting quarterbacks playing this week and the lowest of the bunch, Foles, checks in amid the mid-90s. Some of the guys below Foles, like Tim Patrick, Mecole Hardman, and Chase Claypool could outproduce him, but trusting a QB in superflex is all about the high floor. Simply put, it’s more likely that one of those three receivers will put up a bad game than it is that Foles will be a complete disaster (possible, but not likely). Go with the combination of a high floor and a moderate ceiling if you can.

Starting a no-name quarterback or one in a bad offense isn’t necessarily fun, but in superflex formats, it gets the job done more often than not. Here’s a look at this week’s rankings, which contain a QB-loaded top 10.
