Real Madrid star Karim Benzema’s former agent slammed the Frenchman’s team-mate Raphael Varane for his part in the Spanish giants’ latest disaster.
Zinedine Zidane saw his side lose 4-1 to Valencia, conceding three penalties to the La Liga side.
After Madrid’s star forward opened the scoring on 23 minutes, it was not long before the first penalty was given away.
But then it became a bad day for Varane, who sliced the ball into his own net two minutes before half time to give Valencia the lead.
He tried to intercept a cross from Maxi Gomez – but the centre-back ended up hitting it up in the air from six yards out over Thibaut Courtois.
And Karim Djaziri, who represented Madrid’s star forward for 15 years earlier in his career, held nothing back in his say on Twitter.
He wrote: “Since the Manchester City match, [Varane] has been a shadow of himself.”
Madrid’s loss means they are four points off the top of the table, with just one game in hand on leaders Real Sociedad.
Zidane said after the game: “We started the first half-hour well.
“After the goal we fell apart and changed the dynamics. Everything happened to us; three penalties, an own goal. It is difficult to understand.
“After their first goal we dropped our level a bit and stopped doing everything we had been doing well. We did everything wrong, it's difficult to try and understand our performance.
“There's no excuse for how we defended today. After the first goal our heads dropped and our problems kept building. Right now we are not defending as well as we used to.
“I don't think Valencia were better than us tactically today but I'm the one who needs to find solutions.”
It comes as Benzema was spotted holding “clear the air” talks with Vinicius Jr following a drama in the tunnel.
While former manager Jose Mourinho took a dig at the club for their treatment of Gareth Bale.
