Leeds have launched an offer to sign highly-rated Rennes forward Raphinha, according to reports.
Marcelo Bielsa has already strengthened his squad with £80million worth of new signings this summer, paying a club-record £27million fee to sign Rodrigo.
The Spain striker justified that price tag in their 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Saturday night, netting a crucial equaliser at Elland Road.
United have also added Diego Llorente (£18million), Helder Costa (£16million), Robin Koch (£12million) and Illan Meslier (£6million) to their ranks in the current transfer window.
But according to Goal, their summer business has not yet concluded – with a potential deal for Raphinha in the pipeline.
Leeds are understood to have tabled an offer for the Rennes star, who registered nine goals and five assists in 35 outings last season.
Patrick Bamford has hit the ground running in the top flight this term, scoring three goals in four games, while Rodrigo got off the mark against City.
However, Bielsa is keen to add depth to his squad and Raphinha is at the top of his wish list.
Derby are also said to be interested in signing the 23-year-old, although it would be a major surprise to see him join the Championship outfit.
Leeds have made an impressive start to life back in the big time, coming extremely close to taking all three points against City at Elland Road.
And Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara believes they could even secure Europa League qualification.
“Leeds have been fantastic so far this season,” Kamara told Daily Star Sport. “They’re almost like the new Sheffield United.
“A real success for them this year would be to go on and qualify for the Europa League. It’s a long season, but I think they can do it.
