Haut Brion Her has been selected for the 12th and final slot in the $15 million The TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on Saturday.
Sydney’s premier trainer Chris Waller announced this morning he has reached an agreement to sell his slot in a one-year deal to Victorian stud Three Bridges Thoroughbreds, the birthplace of Haut Brion Her.
The talented mare will be ridden by Brenton Avdulla in The Everest.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds, the picturesque Victorian stud property, races Haut Brion Her with part-owner Gary Johnson.
The announcement means Waller Racing will now have two stable representatives in the Everest field, with Nature Strip racing in the TAB-owned slot. Last year the Waller stable won the event with three-year-old colt Yes Yes Yes.
“It’s incredibly exciting for the whole Waller Racing team to see two of our stable stars line-up as genuine chances in the 2020 Everest,” Waller said.
“Haut Brion Her has shown her brilliant speed this preparation with a superb win in the Sheraco Stakes and I know she is capable of giving this race a shake-up.
“Her work has been faultless the last two weeks which gives me great confidence that she will be primed to put in a big performance on Saturday.”
Haut Brion Her’s selection for Three Bridges completes The Everest field, joining Nature Strip (slot-holders TAB), Classique Legend (Bon Ho), Gytrash (Inglis), Santa Ana Lane (Coolmore), Bivouac (Godolphin), Behemoth (The Star), Tofane (Yulong), Trekking (Max Whitby and Neil Werrett), Eduardo (miRunners), Libertini (James Harron) and Farnan (Aquis) in the world’s richest turf race.
